I chose to be blind for an hour.
It was strange to be blind. I could not see anything. It was annoying only to be able to hear.
I walked carefully around in my house and asked my family for help if I needed help to get where I wanted to go. It was very boring to be blind because I could not do all the things I wanted to do. I was legally blind. Everything was dark and it was very uncomfortable not being able to see. I thought it was very embarrassing when my family helped me walking. Normally I think my house is small but when I was blind, it seemed like it was huge. Even though being blind was very annoying, it was also somewhat funny. It was funny walking around trying not to bump into anything. That hour I was blind, felt like forever. I did not do a lot in that hour. Most of the time I was just sitting in the couch. Being blind had one advantage, I that was that I was not able to do the dishes. This experience was good and now I am very happy for my vision, not that I was not a fan of my vision before but now it means so much more.
